Central Michigan 2-1-1 serves 1.6 million residents in Clinton, Eaton, Genesee, Hillsdale, Ingham, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe, and Shiawassee Counties and partners with 6 other 2-1-1 centers across Michigan as part of a Statewide 2-1-1 Network. 2-1-1 Work?
There are no magic words or phrases to say. Just contact 2-1-1, and let the staff know your situation. An I&R Specialist may ask questions to fully understand, help problem solve, screen to ensure they provide the most appropriate resource information to guide your next steps to seek help from resources in the community. 2-1-1 does not provide funds directly but helps you know the best place to contact.

At Central Michigan 2-1-1, all contacts are answered by staff with knowledge about a variety of health and human service areas. Central Michigan 2-1-1 National Accredited by AIRS (Alliance of Information & Referral Systems) and locally endorsed by Michigan-AIRS (Michigan - Alliance of Information & Referral Systems).
